Dear Owners:
On February 28ᵗʰ we will be putting in all new Queen bed sets {126 units), this should take approximately 4 days to complete. If you are here next week, we will be entering units to swap them out.
Last fall the board hired a Structural Engineer to give us a complete analysis of the structural integrity of the building, the pool deck, and the seawall. Due to what happened in Miami last year the state of Florida is in the process of making this Mandatory for all Condominium associations, so we are ahead of the game on that front. The good news is the Pool deck and Seawall only had very minor issues that were rectified with routine maintenance. The recommendation on the building itself came back in 3 phases. Phasel is requires concrete restoration on the main beam that runs the entire length of the building on the east side facing the ocean, the structural pylons under the building in parking area as well as doing some repair work under the 2ⁿᵈ floor. We will be doing this in sections, so we don’t have to close all the parking off at one time. Phase 1 isscheduled to begin the first week of April and we are anticipating this to take about 60 days to complete.
Phase 2 will consist of the walkways on the floors and the structural horizontal beams up on the Floors, Phase 3 will be re-painting the whole building. Phase 2 will most likely start in quarter 4 of this year and Phase 3 will most likely be pushed to 2023.
Please continue to Monitor the Beach Cam, though most of what is happening now to get the pool open in hard to see. We are also posting updates and pictures on our Facebook page as quickly as we can.
Thank you for your patience on this, it has been a long road of permitting, supplies and people shortages but we are almost there.
